This is an independent reference site, not the manufacturer. The original Research International division built solder reflow ovens for SMT assembly, and the assets of that division were acquired by another company in 2001. What this site is
Research International, as covered here, was a maker of forced-convection solder reflow ovens for surface-mount and chip-scale circuit-board assembly. This website is an independent reference built from the public record to keep that equipment information available to the people who still run, service, and source parts for these ovens. It is not affiliated with the original manufacturer, with any company that later acquired its assets, or with any current holder of the trademarks. Product and company names appear only to identify the equipment described.

Company history, briefly
Research International designed, developed, and sold solder reflow equipment for the printed-circuit-board and chip-scale-package industries, with a product line marketed worldwide and a reputation built on high-quality, high-performance ovens. In November 2001, the assets of the division that operated this surface-mount-technology business were acquired by another equipment company, which folded the product line into a broader engineering, manufacturing, and service operation.
Equipment from that era remains in service, which is why this reference focuses on what is durable and useful: the oven families, their datasheets, parts identification, and service practice, rather than the corporate details that have since changed.
